Basic parts of any wood fence should have these parts!
POST/ CONCRETE : It is paramount to your home's perimeter that it has has a secure enclosure that is strong and will last. This is why it is important to know that each post is put into the ground deep enough to match the height of your fence, with the adequate amount of concrete required to accommodate your fences distance, height, and its weight. Also to know that, each post is spaced out correctly to insure you fence is well constructed.
RAIL | PICKET SUPPORT: You average neighborhood fence rails are the pickets support system for your fence and knowing how to design the correct picket support is important to your investment and its longevity. Most common fence rails 2x4x6 or top rail being 2x4x16 treated wood typically made from pine or cedar in most cases and depending on your design could be different. Your fences top rail should almost always have 16ft links to support more than one post at a time to tightly connect the fence together. This will prevent a "slinky" effect on your longer fence lines with wind and length causing fences to lean or fall prematurely.
PICKETS/ SLATS: Pickets or slats are what gives you privacy and is the enhancement of you homes perimeter. Its what everybody sees. Pay close attention to detail because we do. Does each picket assembled resemble one another? Cracks on the pickets top and bottom. Are the ring shanks or screws hanging out the pickets and are they level horizontally to appearance? Visually are each pickets even on top and bottom level to the ground and or sitting correctly on a rot board?
